Mission accomplised! I promised myself I would pick up the paints/pencils more regularly when I went part time and I'm so happy to say that I have managed this.
I desperately wanted to try something different to what I have previously done, both in terms of subject matter and medium. I have never used oils or pastels before and for those who have followed me for some time will know that I have rarely deviated from cyclists and cats for several years!!!
Yes, I have even got myself along to a life drawing class. I followed one in Belgium and really loved the challenge of capturing the human form, it's great returning to the challenge.
So here are the results. Keep visiting for more.
All of my art is now on this single page. If you are interested in buying any of it, or commissioning a piece do get in touch.
Dylan lived very close to where I was based when I lived out in Belgium. We shared the same motor-pacing pilot! He was an excellent junior back then, now he's mixing it with the best- not too shabby!
