I have added this page since my experiences off the bike are so varied that I wanted to share them too. Hope that you enjoy following my ventures on this page. Yes, the guest book has gone! I hope to 're-instate' it on the home page in the near future.

Famous caricature artist Nesten (www.nesten.be) inspects my work during Stijn Devolder's supporters feest; I got his approval!

At the end of the 2009 season I visited Eric in his home. He was unbelievably friendly and willingly signed my drawing of himself. Imagine being welcomed into the house of a legendary sportsman in England, enjoying a casual chat and having a picture signed.... no I can't either!!

Sergei lives close by in Diest and we share the share motorpacer! We rode to Herentals together in July before he took part in the post tour crit there. Pettachi (reluctantly?) posed for a picture with me and it dawned on me that I was in potnetially a 'signing haven' for my art work as we chatted with Sergei outside the signing-on!

Two days after his win in the Amstel Gold race we caught up as he was visiting a friend on my street!

At the end of the 2008 season I visited Eddy at his factory where he signed two of my drawings, it was a fantastic experience to meet a true sporting legend; he ranks number one in my mind despite my love of football I have to say that he is a class above the ridiculously overpaid players that are presented to us as icons these days! 

My first 'tentoonstelling' in Belgium took place in St Joris-WInge thanks to the kind organisation of Paul Delimon. It was in conjunction with a stage show called 'Renners in Aantocht', which starred Carrie Goosens; the David Jason of Belgium! A great guy who showed a genuine interest in my art work and cycling.
